Awhile back at a large comic convention, a bunch of us were
sitting around and discussing all the books coming from the large
publishers and some of the stuff we saw coming form the indie
crews. There were superheroes, fantasy and some horror stuff.
Like the rest of you, we were looking for some excitement.
Something we’d be talking about later. We talked about the
kind of cult films, books and TV were still things people wanted
today. Everyone around us was saying; “How come they
don’t make this kind of movie or that kind of comic
anymore?”
Well here they are…

DATELINE: June 2009
Convention season is upon us! And if you take a look at our
CONVENTIONS page, you'll see we're everywhere this summer.
There are not too many places you'll not be able to find us
and get a chance to get your hands on all the comics, posters and
shirts most of the comic industry is talking about. Also a big
"Hello!" to all of you who have ordered us at your
local Comic shop through Haven/Advance Distributors.
We WILL be
available through other distribution soon as well, but you really
need to tell your comic shops to get he Haven Catalogue as there
will be stuff available only there for awhile.
Now that we've
taken care of business….NEW items available NOW from STG...
We have a new 'Billy the Monster Hunter' Poster done by
our own Shawn Surface and colored by Vince Vinson. STG's new
Zombie line of shirts and posters conceived by Glenn Tippett and
painted brilliantly by Tommy Castillo. Check out the merchandise
section of this website to drool and then order!
New Kyu-Shin
posters too! Our much-lauded comic series which kicked off this
past winter has new images available to heat up you summer. Our
poster is from Kyu-Shin's artist Ivonne Falcon and the other
is coming soon from noted painter and fantasy artist; Mark
Romanoski. Mark is finishing up some work for Moonstone comics
and will have our next image coming soon. This one is devoted to
the Villainous Vampiric Ladies of our on-going series, so
don't miss it and check back here soon to order.
Okay, think
that's all? NOPE! We have a new horror series coming that
will kicked off in 'Midnight att he Cathouse Theater'
that is like nothing the comic industry has been able to pull
off. This, coming from any other company than STG, would give you
reason to doubt…but our record on doing Books like
"Honor Thy Father" and the often imitated by others;
"Bubba the Redneck Werewolf" proves it!
Also, get ready
to Party with the newest horror hero since Jason Voorhees, but
more on that title later…
Meanwhile, have a great first
month of summer and more to come in July from the Guys, Gals and
Ghouls of STG!
